WILLIAMS, HELEN CHARLOTTE - The death of Mrs. Helen Charlotte Williams, of Saint John, occurred on Friday September 24, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family and bedside prayers. Born in 1922 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ada (Davis) Williams. She is survived by her loving children Fred Williams of Saskatchewan, Ronnie Williams of Saint John, Eleanor Wilson (Ken) of Saint John, Betty Hodd of Saint John and Jean Bailey (Philip) of Saint John; 23 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Helen was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband Fred Shielder, son David Williams, brother Fred Williams and sister Myrtle Williams. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitations on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday September 28, 2004 at 11 a.m. Following cremation, a private family interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date.
