Bergh, Helen WATERVLIET Helen Wlodkowski Bergh, 91, of Seventh Avenue, died on Friday morning, June 5, 2009 at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Watervliet on September 18, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Wladyslaw and Anna Kocienska Wlodkowski. She was the loving wife of the late Clarence W. Bergh Sr. A graduate of Watervliet High School, Mrs. Bergh was born and lived her life at her current residence. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Watervliet and was a homemaker. Survivors include her two sons, Paul J. (Kathleen) Bergh of Ballston Spa, Clay (Deborah) Bergh Jr. of Clifton Park; sisters, Geneieve Jumbyla and Florence Levens, both of Watervliet; brother, Telesfor Wlodkowski of Colo.; five grandchildren, Kristina Neddo, Karen Totino, Amy DeCelle, Cynthia Jennings, Jeanne LaGasse; along with 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Wlodkowski. Funeral services for Helen will begin at 10:45 a.m. on Monday from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet then at 11:30 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 700 Fourth Avenue, Watervliet where a Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. for visitation.
