ANDERSON -We are saddened to announce the death of Hank Anderson on August 12, 2007, at the age of 78 at the Wynyard Hospital. Hank was born to Hannes and Margaret Anderson on October 4, 1928, the youngest of nine children. He took his schooling at Springburn and Wynyard High School, graduating in 1947. After a few odd jobs he hired on with the CPR and retired in 1986. He met his wife Ev (Gudnason) in high school and they were married in 1949. They were blessed with two daughters, Charlotte and her children Michael and Katherine; and Sharyn and son-in-law Tom. Hank is survived by his wife Ev of 58 years; daughters Charlotte and Sharyn; grandchildren Michael and Katherine and son-in-law Tom; his brother Erle and sister-in-law Marg; sisters-in-law Lorna (Carl) Anderson, Irene Holderness, Shirley (Lorne) MacPherson, Femia (Albert) Rozedeba, Marilyn Walton, and brother-inlaw Henry Gudnason; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
