Businesswoman AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Gladys Irene Morris, 82, of Augusta, died Saturday, January 25, 2003, in the Medical College of Georgia Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2003, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Moore officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Ms. Morris was a native of Columbia County, and was raised in McDuffie County, having graduated from Thomson High School. She had made her home in Hilton Head and Augusta. She was a baptist and a businesswoman. Survivors include her brother, Charles Morris, Augusta; a sister, Emmie Hannah, Gray; a half brother, Everette Morris, Augusta; seven nieces, Margie Holloway Greene, Woodstock, Jacque Avant and Billie Ruth Jordan, both of Gray, Anne Stafford, Augusta, Linda Fuqua, Lisa Dove, and Deborah Crider, all of Conyers; and five nephews, Richard Stafford, Augusta, Jonathan Fuqua, Christopher Dove, Jason Dove, and Camerron Dove all of Conyers. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
