RAYMOND, Gerard Former employee at CBC Passed peacefully June 22, 2006 at the age of 71 surrounded by his loving family and special friend Madeleine Lajoie. Father of Helene (Marc Bertrand), Daniel (Sylvie Larocque), Nicole (Daniel Bourgeois), Jean-Francois (Jamie Scullion), and Michel (Valerie Plouffe). Grandfather of Stephanie, Alexandre, Valerie, Marc-Andre, Melissa, Martin, Danika, Matheo, Dalvany and Maxime. Predeceased by his parents Irene and Fernado Raymond, survived by his sister Margo (Raymond) Jodouin and his brother Jean-Paul. The family wishes to thank the Sarsfield Colonial Home staff for their extraordinary care. Visitation at the Racine Robert Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa (613-241-3680) on Sunday June 25 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 and from 9 a.m. on Monday. Funeral Mass will be held at the Notre-Dame-de- Lourdes Church, Vanier (435 Montreal Rd) at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Sarsfield Colonial Nursing Home.
