DAVIS George Davis went home to be with Jesus on November 29, 2002. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Thank you "Pop" for leaving your fingerprints on our lives. He was born December 25, 1934, in Blackjack, TX, one of ten children born to Robert and Ella Davis. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; son, Storm Davis (wife, Angie); daughter, Ginger Davis; stepson, Michael Rees (wife, DeDe); stepdaughter, Kimberly Stidham (husband, Tony); two brothers; five sisters; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 3, 2002, in the University Baptist Church, with Dr. Jack J. Dinsbeer, Dr. Charles W. Davis, and Dr. Tom Messer officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Monday at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 729 S. Edgewood Avenue.
