SMITH, Gail Gloria (nee Linnen) On November 5, 2012, Gail passed away in her home, in the loving arms of her family following a year-long battle with Cancer. Gail, who grew up on the family farm near Francis, Sask., was a 1964 graduate of Regina Grey Nuns School of Nursing and began her career in Peace River, Alberta. Gail is survived by Cliff, her best friend and husband of 44 years; daughters Karen Hepditch & Katherine Fletcher; son Brad (Jackie) Smith and granddaughters Madi & Abby, all of Sherwood Park. Also survived by her brother Ken (Sue) Linnen & sister-in-law Louise Linnen of Regina, Sask.. Lovingly remembered by Cliff's family, Bob (Ellen) Smith of Sechelt, B.C., Ellen Carey of North Saanich, B.C., & Dave (Diane) Smith of Castleton, Ont., & numerous nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Leonard & Mabel Linnen, brother Gary Linnen, and her beloved Aunt Lydia Bornholdt. A Celebration of Gail's life will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home 52356 Range Rd 232 (south of Wye Rd., across from Salisbury Greenhouse) Sherwood Park, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 10, 2012.
