WILLIAMS Funeral Service for Mr. Bennie Williams, age 67, will be held at 10AM, FRIDAY, January 6, 2005 in St. Paul AME Church, with Rev. Marvin C. Zanders, II, Pastor, officiating. Mr. Williams of 4920 Tally Ho Ave. passed away December 25, 2005 in a local hospital. A Jefferson County, GA native, Mr. Williams resided in Jacksonville for over 40 years, where he was employed by National Merchandise, Inc. (formerly Pic N' Save) until he retired after 20 years of dedicated service. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eldora Williams; daughters, Mrs. Cassandra M. Price (Lewis A.) and Miss Renea Williams; grandchildren, Blake, Felicity, Jordan, Brandon, and Tyler; sister, Mrs. Cleophus Clark (Tanzy) of Sidon, MS; brother, Willie James Williams (Bernistine) of Sandersville, GA; sisters-in-law, Ms. Barbara Bowden of Chicago, IL, Ms. Juanita Bell of St. Petersburg, FL, Ms. Mamie Johnson (Nathaniel) of Columbia, GA, Ms. Delois Wilson (Bennie) of Jasper, FL, Ms. Alma Bell and Ms. Betty Bell; brothers-in-law, Joseph and Benjamin Bell; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, including a devoted cousin, Lewis Palmer, Jr., Genoa Newsom, and Ms. Betty Palmer, other relatives and friends. Mr. Williams will rest in the mortuary for visitation of friends THURSDAY from 5PM until 8PM (where the family will receive friends at 5PM) and in the church Friday from 9AM until the hour of service. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery. The cortege will assemble at the residence under the direction of ALPHONSO WEST MORTUARY, INC., 4409 Soutel Dr. (766-9671).
