CARROLL, Frederick William Entered into rest, Wednesday, March 21, 2007, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Born September 20, 1936 in Dublin, Ireland, where he grew up and met his beloved wife Patricia (nee Cummins). In 1972, Fred moved with Patricia and their four children to Canada. Fred will be remembered as a cherished father who demonstrated compassion, caring, and humour and as a dearly beloved husband who treasured his wife and children. Fred was fiercely independent and hardworking in everything he did. He will be missed by family and friends at home and abroad for his unwavering kindness and staunch loyalty. Loving father of Audrey Carroll - Polzin (Sandy), Suzanne Duff (Kevin), Thomas (Stephanie) and Trish Herreria (Greg). Cherished grandfather of Liam, Aidan, Max, Ashleigh and Ethan. Caring brother of Anthony (Peggy), Tom (Maureen), Raymond (Gay), and Frank (Marie). Predeceased by his brother John. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The Carroll family wishes to express their sincere thanks to all the caring people at the Ottawa Community Care Access Centre for their compassion and concern, which was a lifeline in a time of need.
