Freda Mary Pomroy (née Cox) November 19, 1924 - October 29, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Scott Funeral Home (Brampton Chapel) Peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, at the South Huron Hospital in Exeter, Ontario on October 29, 2005 at the age of 80. Best friend of Errol Hardie for over 22 years. Loving mother of Albert and his wife Kerry, Mike and his wife Sue, Bob, and John and his wife Lorraine. She will be dearly missed by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, her sister Olive and brother Morris both of England, and all of her other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at the Scott Funeral Home, 289 Main St. N. (Hwy 10), Brampton (905) 451-1100 on Friday November 4, 2005 at 11 am. A reception will follow in the Caledon Lounge of the funeral home. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
