MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Francis St. Onge, age 89, beloved husband of the late Della May St. Onge, entered into rest Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital. Mr. St. Onge was a native of Woonsocket, R.I., but had lived in the Augusta area for the last 48 years. He had served in the US Army for 25 years, while in the military he had served in WWII and after the war, graduated from Augusta Technical College enabling him to become an Instructor at Ft. Gordon. After Mr. St. Onge had retired from the military, he then worked for Civil Service for 12 years before retiring for a second time. Crypt side services will 12 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2004 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Michael S. Thigpen officiating. Caregivers, special friends, and confidants of Mr. St. Ong are Clarence Brown and Alda Wilson, both of Martinez.
