MURPHY, FRANCES CURL, 80 Mims - Frances Curl Murphy, 80, of Mims, FL, formerly of Weirsdale, FL, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015. She was born December 6, 1934, in Oak Park, GA, to the late Hubert Edward and Mattie Lavada Curl. For many years, Frances worked as a secretary with Mims Citrus Co-op. She was a member of Mims United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Murphy; son, Dennis Murphy (Janet) of Greenwood, SC; daughter, Karen Broome (Charlie) of Madison, AL; two sisters, Joyce Skipper of Brandon, FL, and Marcia Curl of Sefner, FL; five grandchildren, Zachary (Ashley), Monica and Evan Broome, Kyle and Sarah Grace Murphy; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Audrey Broome. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2015, at North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015, at Mims United Methodist Church. A Graveside Service will follow at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Weirsdale, FL.
