Esther Ruth James March 28, 1929 - December 23, 2013 Esther James (nee Malan) passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Platon James, Esther will be lovingly remembered by her sons Kedrick and Gideon James and by her close friend Renate Hoogstraten. Many knew her through her involvement in folk dancing, bird watching and many years working in the airline industry. She dedicated her life to the preservation of wildlife, the Earth, and all its inhabitants.
