FORTIER, ERNEST C., 85, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday (Sept. 13, 2005) at St. Anthony's Hospital under hospice care. He was born in Dorchester, Mass., and moved to St. Petersburg in 1952 from Pembroke, Mass. During World War II he served in the Navy with Seabee Battalion 128. He owned Ernie Fortier Pumps and Wells. He was a member of American Legion Post 14, St. Petersburg. Survivors include his wife, Bernadette; two sons, Paul, St. Petersburg, and David; a daughter, Kathleen Fortier, St. Petersburg; a grandchild; and four great-grandchildren. David C.
