JOHNSON, Elsie Verna (nee Slasynski) March 1, 1946 - March 7, 2005 On March 7th, 2005 Mrs. Elsie Verna Johnson passed away in Fernie, BC at the age of 59. Elsie is lovingly remembered by her husband of 38 years Robert Johnson; her children Pam (Jared) Bunnin, Gibbons, AB; Chad Johnson, London, England; three sisters, Ann (Walter) Saruk, Sherwood Park, AB; Bernice Skomar of Cudworth, Sask.; Stella (Cliff) Blackmur, Sherwood Park, AB, brother, Elmer (Wendy) Slasynski, Andrew, AB; one sister-in-law, Jean Slasynski (Tomyn); two grandchildren, Logan and Madison Bunnin, Gibbons, AB. Elsie was predeceased by her mother Kate and father Julian Slasynski; and two brothers Orest Slasynski and infant brother; and a brother in-law, Bill Skomar. All those who shared in Elsie's life are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, Alberta. A Memorial Service followed by an interment will be held Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Scarf Funeral Chapel, 418 - 2nd Avenue, Cudworth, Saskatchewan.
