Eloise Maud Smith Merrillville Eloise Maud Smith, age 84, of Merrillville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2004. A service of remembrance conducted by the McCoy Funeral Chapel of Hammond, will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church, corner of Hohman/Highland Streets, Hammond, IN, with Rev. Linda Skaggs officiating. Interment, Leon Cemetery in Leon, Iowa. Eloise was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hammond; P.E.O. Chapter AP of Hammond, IN; and a secretary at the Hammond Technical Vocational High School under five principals. An expression of sympathy may be given to Hospice of the Calumet Area.
