PELOT, Elizabeth (nee Morris) Peacefully, on Friday, January 21st, 2005 at her home in Georgetown. Elizabeth, in her 49th year, beloved and cherished wife of Jim Pelot. Loving and proud mother of Ali and Sam. Beloved daughter of Reverend Paul and Mary Morris. Dear sister of Stephen and his wife Sandra Morris, Anna and her husband Brad Bailey, Margaret and her husband Carlos Teixeira and the late Robert Morris. Much-loved daughter-in-law of Vi and Gerry Pelot. Dear sister-in-law of Susan and her husband Bill Hayden, Ron and his wife Milica Pelot and Lorraine Pelot and her partner Linda Stinson. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Saturday, January 22 from 7-9 p.m. & Sunday, Jan. 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral & Committal Service will be held at the Georgetown Alliance Church, 290 Main Street South, Georgetown on Monday, January 24th at 11 o'clock. Reception to follow in the church hall. While Elizabeth's journey over the last few years introduced her to a great many caring and talented health professionals, the family is particularly grateful for the immense support provided by Dr. Joan Charboneau and her team at the Phenix Professional Group. An accomplished business person with careers at both TD and the Royal Bank, Elizabeth held a B.A. in Theatre Arts and MBA and C.A. degrees. To celebrate Elizabeth's love of learning and her recent time spent pursuing a calling in graduate pastoral studies, the Elizabeth Pelot Memorial Endowment has been established at McMaster (University) Divinity College to financially assist mature students preparing for ministry.
