->Elizabeth (Bette)Anderson MillerROCKY MOUNT, NC - Elizabeth (Bette) Anderson Miller, 77, of Hyde Park, NY passed away in Rocky Mount, NC on December 23, 2011.Born January 10, 1934 in Mt. Kisco, NY, Bette was a resident of Hyde Park since 1949. She graduated from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in 1951, and later graduated from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in 1954. On August 12, 1956, Bette was married to Paul Albert Miller. She enjoyed a 30+ year career as a Registered Nurse in various capacities, including Operating Room nurse at St. Francis Hospital, and Head Nurse at Hyde Park Nursing Home. Bette was a very talented seamstress, and many people benefitted from her skills and generosity in this area. She was the Founder of the Dutchess County chapter of Project Linus, a longtime member of the Skyllkill Embroiders Guild of America, and a member of the Hyde Park Library Craft Guild Quilters.Bette is survived by her husband Paul A Miller (Hyde Park), sons Scott A. Miller (Nashville, TN), Mark M. Miller (Torrance, CA), and daughter Jill M. Kroger (Newton, MA), sister Dr. Ruth A. Lawrence (Rochester), brother Stephen H. Anderson (Sarasota, FL), eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She is predeceased by her daughter Cheryl A. Kruse (Staatsburg), and her sister Margaret A. Brown. The family will be holding a celebration of her life at a later date.
