December 25, 2005 Elizabeth "Betty" Jennings, 89, of Syracuse, died Christmas Day. Born in Oneonta, Betty was formerly employed by SUNY Oneonta for 19 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Alfred G. Jennings, DDS, and her brother, Malcolm Bard. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Ben) Nichols of Syracuse; sons, Richard (Rhonda) Jennings and Douglas (Mary) Jennings; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held in Oneonta. Burial will be in the spring in Oneonta. Contributions may be made to Bellevue Heights United Methodist Church, 2112 S. Geddes St., Syr., NY 13207.
