Obituary of Elizabeth-A. -Elizabeth-Agnes-Anderson Anderson

ANDERSON, ELIZABETH A. Elizabeth Agnes Anderson, 83, 824 Faber Dr., born of Brighton, Massachusetts, moving to Orlando in 1969, lost her battle with cancer, leaving this world to be with the Lord, and the previously departed, on Tuesday, August 9th. At her side at her time of passing were her devoted, loving husband, M/SGT C.V. Anderson (retired); son, Ronald Victor Anderson; and daughter, Anne Marie Anderson. Surviving her, as well, is son, Dr. and Mrs. Paul Norman Anderson, VA. Grandchildren, Dr. Kerstin Anderson, Dr. Peter Anderson, Dr. Kathren Anderson, Christopher Anderson, Robert Edward Anderson Jr., Raven Evaney Anderson, David Lee Anderson, Noah Shane Anderson, Lacy Casandra Anderson, and Justin Anderson. A devout Catholic, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Daniel Anderson and sons Robert Edward Anderson and Richard Clarence Anderson, musicians. A "Steel Magnolia", she was the Matriarch of an expanding family that followed her husband everywhere, to support his service to our country in the Air Force; learning the travails of crossing the world with family in tow, not just across the street. Each assignment brought its own challenges and Betty met them all with her usual flair, tenacity and smiles. No stranger to The Arts, she found time to teach her sons Richard and Bob the guitar, and supported their RnR ventures. She amassed an AMAZING collection of hand-made dolls (made by her own hands, displayed in glass cases). Betty was a REAL person, wife, mother, grandmother, craftsperson, friend, confidant. There will be no forgetting this fine woman, nor the special and wonderful memories that she left behind for us to share. Betty, may you find the peace you deserve in the next world, and may we again join you, to share the passing of time with you, one day. Liturgical memorial service at Reformation Lutheran Church, 800 East Michigan St., Orlando, at 3PM, Sunday, September 25th.
