Obituary of Elaine-T. Macdonald


MACDONALD MacDonald- Elaine T. (Izzo) MacDonald, age 53, of Bridgeport, died on Friday, March 7, 2003, in Connecticut Hospice, Branford, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. MacDonald was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong resident. She was employed as a technical assistant for outside engineering for SNET/SBC for the past 23 years, and was a lifelong member of St. Augustine's Cathedral. Elaine loved the outdoors, especially the wonderful vacations spent at Moosehead Lake in Maine. Predeceased by her parents, Albert Theresa ( Perrotta) Izzo, she is survived by her husband, Edward MacDonald of Bridgeport; her daughter Marissa; two sisters, Lucille Pachera of Bridgeport and Nancy Dudeck of Huntington, a brother-in-law and six sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, at 10 a.m. DIRECTLY at Holy Cross Church , 750 Tahmore Drive, Fairfield. Committal will be private at the convenience of her family. Friends are invited to greet her family on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the LESKO-MINER FUNERAL HOME 155 MAIN STREET (Route 25) MONROE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
