Mrs. Eddie Lee Johnson -Savannah- Mrs. Eddie Lee Johnson, 83, of Savannah, GA died Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at home, surrounded by her children and under the care of Hospice of Savannah, Inc. She was born July 10, 1923 in Luray, SC. She was raised in Savannah, GA. She was a faithful member of St. Philip A.M.E. Church for 64 years she served in the Choir and on the Auxiliary Board. She retired from Savannah Bank & Trust Company and was also a licensed Beautician. She valued her family and her home and fully embraced the many aspects of being a committed wife, nurturing mother, doting grandmother and a gracious host. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Lemiah Johnson; She leaves to cherish her precious memories, four daughters, Delores (Samuel) Fuller of Savannah, Patricia Johnson of New York, Diana (David) Simmons and Sandra (Wilbert) Kennedy both of Atlanta, GA., a devoted cousin, Dorothy White, five grandchildren, Samuel Fuller Esq., of Washington, DC, Wilbert Kennedy Jr., David (Crystal) Simmons, Janene "Neen" Simmons of Atlanta, GA, and Deidre Simmons of Athens, GA., five beloved great-grandchildren all of Atlanta. Many loving brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation: 7-8 p.m. Monday in the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service: 12, Noon, Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at St. Philip A.M.E.
