Earl grew up in Belle River, and in 1943 married "Bern", the love of his life, sharing more than 63 wonderful years, and together their family grew to 32. Their marriage defines what true love should be and will live on to eternity. He was a true gentlemen who respected his religion and valued his life. Earl retired from Ford Motor Co. after 42 years. He served as a signalman in WWII and was an avid licensed ham radio operator (VE3 ESW). He was a self-taught musician and played many instruments. He inspired his family to appreciate all types of music, and taught us to enjoy the moment while singing, dancing and listening. Earl had interests in reading, bowling, astronomy, and electronics - but above all, he treasured spending time with his family. He took pleasure in capturing special moments on film and became the family's "PAPPArazzi"! Thanks for the memories! His "St.Onge Sense of Humour" (you know who you are!), will live on in all our hearts forever. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. A veterans service will be held under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 9:45 a.m. from the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (519-735-2830) to St. Gregory the Great Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Daniel Bombardier will be the celebrant. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Earl St. Onge in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 30, 2007. All are welcome.
