Douglas Charles Williams, 68, Sarasota, died April 14, 2004. He was born Sept. 15, 1935, in Hamburg, N.Y., and came to Sarasota 40 years ago from East Aurora, N.Y. He was vice president of a construction supply company. He graduated from Erie County Technical Institute and was a member of Gulf Coast Builders Association and National Association of Home Builders. He was a Protestant. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Carolyn F.; daughters Dodie Mash of Englewood and Michelle MacDonald of Milwaukee; a sister, Eleanor Kresconko of Basom, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunrise Cove Club House, 8877 Midnight Pass Road, Sarasota. Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home is in charge.
