-> Mrs. Doshia "Plum" Mae Peters, 73, died June 10, 2004 of natural causes. She was a lifelong resident of Savannah and attended Chatham County Public School system and retired as a Nurse. She was a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church. Survivors: husband, Mr. Herbert Peters, Savannah; three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Simmons, Savannah, Angelena Butler and Catherine Dorene Barn es both from Philadelphia, PA; one brother, Deacon Willie Chisholm, Savannah; four grandchildren and three great -grandchildren.
