DELTONA - Dorothy Ruth LePoidevant Johnson, 86, of Mandeville Street, a resident since 1944, died Thursday at Orange City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, DeBary. Mrs. Johnson, a homemaker, moved to this area from her native Pensacola. She was a member of Volusia County Baptist Church, Orange City. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, candlewicking, crewelwork and cross stitching. Survivors include a son, Charles Johnson, Orlando; a daughter, Dorothy Pitts, Deltona; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Alavon Direct Cremation, South Daytona, is in charge.
