of Pomona passed away suddenly on April 5, 2002. She was 88. Survivors include beloved daughter, Anna Hess of Pomona. Grandmother to Linda Hess Dowling of Goshen, Randy Hess of Suffern, Michael Hess of Valley Cottage, and Cindy Hess Welker of New Windsor. Great grandmother to Elizabeth, Stephanie, David, Matthew, and Michael. She leaves a nephew, Edward Hopper of Pomona and a niece, Pearl Meisner of Goshen. A graveside memorial will be held at St. Paul's Highview Cemetery on April 28, 2002 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetic Association.
