EAST GREENBUSH Dorothy G. (Gould) Johnson, 76, of Phillips Road, died Sunday, June 8, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy, after a lengthy illness. Born in Glens Falls, she had been a resident of the Capital Region for many years. She was secretary to the principal of the East Greenbush School District at the Goff School for 30 years prior to her retiring in June of 1985. She was also a past member of CSEA. Survivors include her husband, Charles Johnson Jr.; a son, Owen C. and his wife Theresa Johnson, all of Rensselaer; three grandchildren, Jaime Johnson/Richardson, Kurt C. and Keith E. Johnson; also survived by two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Brandon Richardson. Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service 10 a.m. Wednesday at the New Rural Cemetery in East Greenbush. The family has requested that those who wish to remember Dorothy, make contributions to Community Hospice of Rensselaer, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144.
