STRAFFORD - Dorothy D. Williams, 97, of Strafford passed away peacefully Wednesday Oct. 3, 2012, at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover. She was born on May 23, 1915, in Manchester, the daughter of the late Henry and Cora (Landry) Rogler. She graduated from Manchester West High School, Class of 1933. She worked for Charm Beauty Shop and later owned Profile Linen Service. Dorothy also did a lot of volunteer work through the years including Camp Allen and Catholic Medical Center. She also was a member of the TAGS and Bow Lake Camp Owners Association. She was the wife of Miles Kelly who was past-president of the Manchester Lions Club. Mrs. Williams enjoyed dancing, gardening and spending time out of doors with family. The widow of Myles P. Kelly and William P. Williams, she is survived by two children, Peter Mangelinks of South Carolina and Jacqueline Kelly of Strafford; stepson Joseph Kelly of Manchester; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews To sum up her life, she was a woman of substance. . SERVICES: Visitation will be Sunday Oct. 7, 2012, at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home chapel, 86 So. Main St., Rochester from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be no funeral service. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Rochester Visiting Nurses Association, 178 Farmington Road, Rochester 03867.
