died October 25, 2001. She was born in the Bronx on December 4, 1919, daughter of Charles and Christina (Callahan) Patterson. On August 15, 1943 Dorothy married F. Edward Smith, while he was serving in US military. For 49 years they have lived in Ardsley in the home they built together. Dorothy loved all animals and enjoyed bowling. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Bethlehem Commandery, KT. Surviving is her loving husband of 58 years, F. Edward Smith and her daughter, Christina Ebert of Little Falls, NJ.
