Obituary of Donna-M. White


CHELMSFORD -- Donna M. (Wright) White, a resident of Chelmsford for more than 25 years who was also an active volunteer in Billerica, died Wednesday evening, June 8, at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of Donald R. White, who died in 1982.Born in Fort Jackson, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Isabel F. (Bradley) Wright. She was a resident of Lowell for many years and graduated from Lowell High School.Prior to her illness, Mrs. White worked at Harvard Vanguard in Chelmsford.She also volunteered with her granddaughter at the New England Pediatric Care in Billerica for more than 10 years.She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Donald R. White Jr. and his wife Andrea of Chelmsford; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim M. Simard and her husband Kenneth of Chelmsford, with whom she resided; her grandchildren, Brendan J. White, Ryan D. White, Nikki White, Tyler White, Kayla Simard and Kevin Desmond; four sisters, Janice Creegan and her husband Dennis, Sharon Doyle and her husband James, Sandra McNamara and Maribeth Landry and her husband Scott, all of Lowell; a brother-in-law, John White of Allenstown, N.H.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
