Dr. Donna E. Davis, of 112 Sunshine Lane, died March 31, 2001, at her home. Dr. Davis was a licensed psychologist who was the chief psychologist at Whitten Center in Clinton for many years before becoming director of that institution's diagnostic and evaluation center. Dr. Davis earned her Ph.D. degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is survived by her husband, Jon Wallace; her father, Brady Davis; and her brother, Ben Davis. She is predeceased by her mother, Audrey Davis. Dr. Davis devoted her life to serving individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs. She had the gift of bringing out the best in people. Those who knew her best described her as kind, generous, loving, compassionate, brilliant, understanding and humble.
