SUFFOLK, Va. Diane Marie Williams, 36, formerly of Cohoes, died suddenly, Saturday, November 22, 2003 near her home in Suffolk. Born in Troy, she was the beloved wife of David C. Williams and mother of Kyle Thomas, 6, Christian James, 3, and Katheryn Elizabeth Williams, 5 months, of Suffolk. She was a graduate of Cohoes High School and SUNY Geneseo. Diane was a special education teacher for many years, most recently at Stillwater Central School. Survivors in addition to her husband and children include her parents, Thomas and Helen Dozois Thaler of Cohoes; her brothers, Thomas Thaler III of Cape May Court House, N.J., John Thaler of Wallingford, Conn. and Mark Thaler of Cohoes; her sister, Kathleen Nadeau of Stockbridge, Ga.; numerous nieces, nephews; cousins and friends. She was the daughter-in-law of James and Anne Williams of Delmar, N.Y. Funeral from the Marra Funeral Home, 246 Remsen St., Cohoes, N.Y., Monday morning, 8:30 and at St. Rita's Church (St. Rita's Lane, Cohoes) 9 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Sunday evening from 4 to 8. A scholarship has been set up in Diane's name.
