Dennis G. Williams, 98, of DeWitt died recently at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. Born in Unadilla, NY he attended Cornell University. He served in the US Army Air Force during WW II starting in a fighter plane and leaving as Chief of Tactical Intelligence. Highly decorated for his service, he was a veteran of D-Day at Omaha Beach and also of the Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Williams worked for Agway for 37 years, retiring in 1980 as Director of Risk Management. He was a member of DeWitt Community Church, the Van Patton American Legion Post and the 9th Air Force Association. He was the widower of Dorothy Williams in 2000. Surviving is a son, Dennis G.
