Homegoing services June 21, 2014, at 11 am at Exciting Central Tampa Baptist Church, 2923 N. Tampa Street Tampa, with Pastor Jeffery Singletary, officiating. The final resting place for Deacon Williams will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. He was born in Tillman, SC on Oct. 25, 1946 to the late Henry and Ana Williams. Deacon Williams was a faithful member of Exciting Central Tampa Baptist Church where he served as Senior Deacon. He was preceded in death by a loving wife, Beverly A. Williams; brother, Leon Williams; and sister, Jean Hankins. He is survived by son, Howard Williams (Ursula); devoted spiritual sons, Victor Finley and Melvin Carver; daughters, Tammy Williams (De'vario), Bridget Williams, Sandra Cochran (Ronald), Angelina Smith (Charles); daughter-in-Christ, Sharon Sims; 11 grandchildren, Karee, Amber, Jaela, Emmanuel, Zuriel, Howard Jr, Kelyce, Latoya, Charles Jr, Jarvis and Jason; great-grandchildren, Aaniyah, Sidney, Khylee, Taylor; brother, Curtis Williams; sister, Jacqueline Williams; brother-in-Christ, Steve McDaniel; a loving extended church family, Exciting Central Tampa Baptist Church; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. The remains will repose after 5 pm Friday, June 20, 2014, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue; and the family will receive friends from 6-7 pm.
