In Loving Memory OfDAWN ELIZABETH JONESDecember 4, 1974December 4, 1992DAWN was born 40 years ago today, and went to live in Heaven with JESUS 22 years ago today. Our hearts were broken when we lost DAWN on her 18th birthday. DAWN was born with Down Syndrome. She was the most Christ-like person we've ever had the blessing to know. We deeply miss her in our lives. She loved everyone the way that JESUS loves us. She often overlooked heartbreaking situations, turned the other cheek, and treated everyone with gentleness. DAWN loved to worship JESUS at Bell's Campground Baptist Church, and loved her Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, Powell. We now have two precious children, Eli and Ella, with names inspired by their Aunt DAWN's middle name. Her favorite color was purple. This year our purple Christmas tree in honor of DAWN from Fantasy of Trees is decorated "Frozen" and we tell Eli and Ella about their Aunt DAWN and how much she would have loved them. A Bible verse that represents DAWN to our family is Hebrews 13:2: "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers. For thereby some have entertained Angels unawares." Happy 40th Birthday DAWN!
