COWLEY _ David George, born April 25, 1937 in Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away suddenly on January 1, 2003 in Casa Grande, Arizona. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years Cecile (nee Lamblin). Loving and cherished father of Michael (Lise) and Leanne (Steve). Proud grandfather of Matthew and Katherine. He is also survived by his brother Fred (Willie) and sister Louise (Les) Keough and loving mother-in-law Rita Lamblin. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Amy and his father-in-law Pierre Lamblin. He will be sadly missed by many family and friends. After 37 years in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, David retired as the Officer Commanding of Vancouver Sub-Division in June 1994. His career in the RCMP took him and his family to 10 different communities in British Columbia as well as Ottawa and Winnipeg. His retirement years saw him and his wife travel the world. When they were not flying or cruising to their next destination, he was behind the wheel of his motorhome touring the continent. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC.
