David Alan Walker, 55, Seymour, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, at Hospice Center of Columbus.Born Sept. 7, 1956, in Seymour, he was the son of Willis James Walker and Marjorie Louise Osborne Bell, both of whom preceded him in death. On Aug. 12, 1977, he married Jill A. Wright, who survives.Other survivors include one son, Andrew J. Walker (Carrie); two grandchildren, Emory L. and Evan A. Walker; four brothers, Dennis Walker (Afena), Eric Walker (Sondra), Matt Walker (Sarah) and Daniel Bell; one sister, Deana Perry (John); stepmother, Delorse Walker; stepbrothers and stepsisters; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his two brothers, James "Mike" Walker and John Walker.Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, with social time at 10 a.m. in the church narthex. A light meal will be served after the service at the church.Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Columbus in lieu of flowers.
