WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Cora "Memaw" Parker, 66, of Lake Crystal Drive, Waynesboro, who died August 30, 2005, will be conducted Friday morning at 11 o'clock from the Jones Creek Baptist Church, Pastor Donnie Crosswhite officiating. Interment in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Parker was a native of Arkansas, having made the Augusta area her home for the past 50 years. She was a member of the Jones Creek Baptist Church and the wife of the late Mr. Richard R. Parker. Survivors include five sons, Mike Brown and James Cason, both of Augusta, Chris Brown, North Augusta, S.C., Mike Parker, Portal, and Dale Parker, Statesboro; two daughters, Beth Currie, Waynesboro, and Laura Nettles, Manchester, Tenn.; two brothers, William H. Harper, Brandon, Fla., and Robert W. Harper, McColl, S.C.; one sister, Ann Gammill, Shreveport, La.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Matthew Irwin, Johnny Ramos, Mark Ramos, Clint Pica, Tim Calhoun and Bo Boone. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Thursday evening from 7 to 9. Stephen D.
