SMITH, Constance May (nee Croucher) Passed away peacefully, with family at her side, on August 30, 2009 at the age of eighty-five. Beloved wife of Ross Lachlan Smith, cherished Mother of Anne (Claude Charlebois) of Magog, Qc, Frederick (Diane Sparks) of Barry's Bay, On, Lynne (Peter Meleg) of Brockville, On, Richard of Montreal and Glenn (Sylvie Ranger) of Knowlton, Qc. A wonderful Grandma to eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital's nephrology department - Maria, Dr. Levy and many others - for their dedicated care and compassion over the last five years. A special thank you to Claude (Baxter Corp) for the good cheer he brought to Connie and the treats for Zoe. A memorial service and celebration of Connie's life will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Creek United Church, Brill Road, Foster, Qc. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, or the charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
