CURRY, Christopher Allan "Bud" or "Curry" Died tragically in a cliff jumping acc-ident on Saturday, June 26th, at the very young age of 25. He will be so very sadly missed by all his family and his large group of caring and loving friends. Chris was the loving son of Kathy Magee (formerly Curry) and his step dad Don Magee. He was a very loving, caring and special brother to Jeff and he loved as sisters, his stepsisters Alison and Hilary. He will also be missed by his loving uncle UKK (Al Leahy). He will also be very sadly missed by his father Stewart Curry and wife Jan and stepsister Kirstine and stepbrother Matthew. He will be greatly missed by Auntie Liz (Mitch), Uncle Duncan, Aunt Tahra and cousins Justin, Taylor, Parker. As well he will be missed by his Magee family to include Uncle Jeff, Heather and Colleen, Uncle Bruce and Aunt Patti, Kelly and Scott, Uncle Pete and Aunt Jen, Corrinna, Andrew and Cassidy, Gwen and Jack Magee. His Grammy (Shirley Curry) held a special place in Chris's heart and he loved her with all his heart. He was her "Blue Eyed Boy". He is predeceased by his loving grandparents Allan Curry, Allan Leahy and Vera Leahy, whom he was fortunate to have shared his younger years with. But the love of his life and his best friend was his common law spouse Rebecca Trafford. Chris was so lucky to have found the person whom he would share the rest of his life with. Rebecca brought out the best in Chris and they shared their love of life with laughter and their many friends. They had talked about getting married and having children in the near future. Chris and Rebecca were soul mates and they shared much love, laughter and fun times in their 8 years together. Chris was also the proud father to his "Beastly Boy" their three year old dog. He will also be very sadly missed by Heather Trafford (Stewart), Andy Trafford and Rebecca's brothers Richard and Jack. Chris was an avid and talented athlete from a very young age to include most sports. He played competitive soccer and basketball in his teen years and enjoyed snowboarding, golfing, dirt biking, camping and loved the outdoors. He appreciated nature and found beauty there. His hidden talent was that he was a great artist and unknown to many, had completed 2 murals in his high school, unsigned, because Chris was a silent leader. Chris's love of life shows in the faces of his many friends, as they say he made each one of them feel special. He was a kind soul, always fun loving, the heart of the party and everyone felt blessed to have had Chris in their life. Chris's motto was 'All or Nothing' and he lived his short life to the fullest. Rest in peace Chris. We love you. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata, Sunday, July 4, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass in Memory of Christopher will be held Monday, July 5, 2010 in St. Philip's Church, Richmond at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ottawa Humane Society are appreciated.
