SMITH, Christine, 85 of Wimauma, entered into rest March 29, 2006. Born between the great states of Tennessee and Kentucky, she came to the Wimauma area at the young age of 17 and was of the Baptist faith. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William E. "Ed" Smith; and their son William E. "Eddie" Smith Jr. She is survived by her son, Carl "Ned" Smith of Wimauma; daughter, Diann Floyd of Athens, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place 6-8 p.m. today at Lewers Funeral Home, with services being conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery.
