NORTHPORT Christine Avery Moore, age 72, of Northport, died May 27, 2007, at home. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Rev. Scott Winters officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Her son, Jeff Avery, her father, Paul Meadows, Sr., and her husband, John Mark Avery, preceded her in death.Survivors include her daughter, Sabrina Lane (James) of Northport; son, Monty D. Newman, Jr.; sisters, Glenda Harbison of Northport and Ann Pitt (McCoy); brother, Paul Meadows (Faye) of Northport; mother, Katherine Meadows; grandchildren, Angela Williams of Northport, Ashlie Blackwell (BB) of Jasper, Wyndi Winters (Scott) of Tuscaloosa, and John Mark Avery, Jr. of Duncanville; seven great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sharon Avery of Duncanville; and lots of nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Mike Kirk, Martin Harbison, Brent Nairemore, Jerry Thrower, Billy Farris, and Beau Farris.Honorary pallbearers are DCH staff, Southern Care Hospice, MedCenter Northport, Sarah Robertson, Dr. Katonia and staff, Dr. Asam and staff, Bryce Hospital family, Mr. Henry Earnest, Tuscaloosa Cancer Center, Charlie and Kathy Goodnite, Sarah Gray, Buddy Bowen, Willie Lewis and Sherry Powell.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Jennings Chapel United Methodist Church.
