PETERSON, Christine Kuhlmann Age 58, of Rockville Centre, NY and Atlanta, GA died after a short illness on August 9, 2010 at St Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Christine is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Eric A. Peterson of Elmira, NY and Atlanta, GA. Christine was the beloved daughter of Karl Patrick and Gertrude Kuhlmann of Toms River, NJ. She is survived by her mother; her sisters, Theresa Kuhlmann and Kathleen Baker, Succasunna, NJ; and her brother Kevin and wife Mary Kuhlmann and their son, Kevin Patrick Kuhlmann, Toms River, NJ; and her sister and brother in laws, John and Nancy Peterson, Middletown, OH, and Reeve and Karin Peterson Howland, Elmira, NY. Christine was a graduate of the State University College at New Paltz, NY, and taught vocational rehabilitation education in Rhinebeck, NY, until she and Eric relocated to Atlanta in 1978. Christine received her advanced Master of Professional Accountancy degree from Georgia State University in 1982 and earned her Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1984. Christine was a member of the George A. Pennington and Company CPA firm from 1982 to 2004, and a founding member of the Peterson, Coleman, and Marett CPA firm of Atlanta in 2004. She was an active member of the American Institute of CPA's and the Georgia Society of CPA's. The Peterson's are long time residents of the Brookhaven Ashford Park neighborhood of Atlanta. The H. M. Patterson and Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel in Atlanta will respectfully handle her arrangements. Christine was devoted to her beloved felines.
