McCORMACK Charles "Charlie," age 90, of Ridgefield Park passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30th, 2014. "The Best husband in the World" to his beloved wife Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Blottman). Loving father of six children Chuck (Sally), Christine (Ronn), John (Barbara), Judy (Don), Jeani, (Jimmy), and Peter (Lenka). Beloved grandfather to nine grandchildren Joey, Garrett, Simon, Rick, Mary, Nicholas, Kevin, Billy and Alec. He was predeceased by his brother William McCormack. Charlie proudly served his country in World War II. He was an active parishioner at Saint Francis R.C. Church. Charlie was a structural engineer for Blauvelt Consulting until he was 65 years old. He worked part time for Masur Engineering Company until he was 85 years old. He worked on the Ridgefield Park Board of Adjustments and/or Planning Board for 40 years. He was a volunteer for the Boy Scouts, Little League, and AARP Vita. He was also an Honorary member of the Woman's Club of Ridgefield Park. Funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home, 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park on Thursday at 8:15 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis RC Church at 8:45 AM. Interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, 350 Providenceline Road, Wrightstown NJ. The family will welcome friends Wednesday 4-8 PM. The family suggests a memorial donation in Charlie's name be made to The Woman's Club of Ridgefield Park. vorheesingwersen.com
