Canon - Charles Leroy Goodwin, 58, of 5971 Leonard Cheek Road, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, at his residence. Services will be at 5 p.m. Friday at Hamby Funeral Home, Lavonia. Burial will be in Bowers Memorial Park, Bowersville. Survivors include his wife, Janie Wood Goodwin; three daughters, Tina Boquet, Kimberly Kerr and Christy Goodwin, all of Canon; two sons, Bruce Goodwin and Adam Rowland, both of Canon; four sisters, Doris Miller and Diane Long, both of Toccoa, Juanita Sanders, Hartwell, and Linda Dove, Royston; a brother, Jimmy Goodwin, Lavonia; and nine grandchildren.Athens Banner-Herald, Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003
