Born August 29, 1919, in Seaford, DE, he was the son of the late Frank Cannon and Berniece VanSant Hurley. He was a retired builder, an ordained minister, and a retired U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Shipley Hurley; ten children; 29 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a sister. A private graveside service was held.
