Charles "Chuck" Anderson a resident of Needham for over 40 years died on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. He was 79 years old. Born and raised in Sydney, Nova Scotia Canada, he was the son of the late Daniel and Alice (Adoux) Anderson. Mr. Anderson worked as a foreman for St. Regis Paper, which later became IVEX Packaging Corp. in Newton Upper Falls until his retirement. An avid sports fan, he was an accomplished golfer and longtime member of Brockton Country Club. The beloved husband for over 50 years of Theresa (Mackinnon) Anderson, he was the loving father of Brian and his wife Amy Anderson of Ossining, NY. Brother of George Anderson and the late William, Donald and Matilda. Dear grandfather of Luke and Nicholas Anderson. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Friday, May 25 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 pm. Interment will take place at Needham Cemetery.
