Mrs. Carolyn Louise Reed Harris, 71, of Gainesville died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Harris was the daughter of the late Alton and Inez Shubert Reed. She was retired from Vend Food Services and was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Robert Harris; daughter and son-in-law, Sonja and Philip Stamey; son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Robin Harris, all of Gainesville; grandchildren, Ryan and Samantha Stamey and Riley Harris, all of Gainesville; Amber and James Knight, California; sisters, Ann Sims, Dahlonega, and Tonya Reed, Toccoa; sister-in-law, Deborah Reed, Fayetteville; and a number of nieces and nephews.Mrs. Harris is preceded in death by a brother, Terry Reed.Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. David Matthews and the Rev. Darryl Womack will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
