COX, CAROL L., 71, of Shepherdsville, entered eternal life May 7, 2013 at Norton Hospice Pavilion. She was self-employed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Cox; daughters, Donna Sunken and Judy Mathery; and brother, Charles Brierly. Mrs Cox is survived by her children, Kellye Mattingly (Ray), Traci Pierson, Staci Cox and Mary "Ginni" Johnson; sister-in-law, Kathy Brierly; 16 grandchildren; 11 ½ great-grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Ms. Bobbi Robb officiating. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday.
